Move-In Deep Cleaning for Apartments and Homes
Keelung · Taipei · New Taipei · Taoyuan · Hsinchu · Yilan
Moving to Taiwan for work, or relocating with your family? We clean the whole place before you move in — one complete job, not an hourly housekeeping visit.
Before the boxes arrive
Relocating for work
Families and professionals posted to Taiwan who want the place cleaned before the shipment and the family arrive.
A new rental or an empty flat
Apartments left by previous tenants, or standing empty for a while, where a normal wipe-down is not enough.
Just renovated?
Construction dust and adhesive residue are a different job. Tell us and we will quote post-renovation cleaning instead.裝潢細清 (in Chinese) →
What a move-in deep cleaning covers
Empty apartment, or already furnished?
Both are fine. An empty place is quicker and we can reach every surface, so if you can book before the furniture arrives, that usually gives the better result. But we also work around furniture and belongings that are already in place — just tell us at the estimate so the time is quoted properly.
Appliances that come with the place are included. Rentals arranged through relocation agents usually come furnished, and the appliances are often what needs the most attention:
A full stripdown of an air-conditioner indoor unit or an extractor hood turbine is a separate specialty service, not part of a move-in clean. If the unit needs it, we will say so at the estimate and quote it separately.
What we do not do
Worth reading before you ask for a quote — it is quicker for both of us if the scope is clear from the start.
- We clean dirt, not damage. We do not repair, refinish or restore materials. Scratches, worn coatings and aged metal fittings stay as they are.
- Ordinary painted walls are not included. Marks on painted wall surfaces are better dealt with by repainting — cleaning tends to thin or fade the paint. Tiled walls in kitchens and bathrooms are included.
- No electrical, gas or plumbing work. If we notice something that looks wrong, we will point it out and suggest you have a qualified contractor check it.
- This is a one-time job. We are not an hourly housekeeping, laundry or cooking service, and not a regular weekly cleaner.
- Bulky rubbish left by a previous tenant is discussed at the estimate. Removal by truck is not included by default.
From estimate to finished job
On-site assessment
Free. We look at the size, the condition and the scope you want, then give you a quote.
Plan the areas
We set the order the rooms are worked through.
Kitchen and bathrooms
Grease, limescale and mould are handled first.
Dust the whole place
Working from high level downwards.
Floors, then a walk-through
Floors are cleaned last and we go through the place with you at the end.
Why we do not publish a price. It is not evasiveness — the scope people ask for varies too much for a single number to mean anything. Some want the whole property; some want the interior only and skip the outside of the windows; some want just the high-level areas, the bathrooms and the kitchen. Those are very different jobs in the same size of apartment.
What moves the price: floor area, the condition of the place, how much of it you want covered, the number of windows and how high they are, built-in cabinets and their fittings, floor and worktop materials, and the floor the flat is on.
Within the scope we agree on, we do not add charges later. Work added on the day is quoted separately.
If you are not in Taiwan yet, email us photos and the floor area and we can give you a range — the final quote is confirmed on site.
What the work looks like
These photos are from our Chinese-language case studies. They are general home deep cleans rather than move-in jobs specifically — the work involved is the same kind. Full write-ups are in Chinese.
